Cristina began her work in activism in 2017 with the non profit organization, ICAH (Illinois Caucus of Adolescent Health). She advocated for adolescent reproductive justice  within BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. In 2019 she joined the Youth Advisory Board at the non profit organization, The Network. She is an advocate on for Teen Dating Violence and Domestic Violence.

Since joining the Youth Advisory Board, Cristina has : spoken on panels with Chicago politicians, organized resource fairs, performed at events, organized town halls, helped design ads, received Domestic Violence Training, and created artwork for zines. 

During her time at ICAH she was a part of the Youth Reproductive Justice League and was a Youth Cohort at the organization for a year. She attended and organized: protests, town halls, meetings and helped design flyers. She also performed at protests, canvased in the loop and helped devise a play about abortion stories for FYI Performance Company (a theatre company who partners with ICAH).
